The Francis Bath - Finally open

The newly opened Spa at The Francis in Bath marks the culmination of a project I’ve been deeply involved in from the very beginning. I supported every stage of its development — from shaping the initial concept and design layout to guiding the detailed design process, leading all pre‑opening preparations, and providing hands‑on support through the first months of operation. It has been a privilege to help bring this beautiful new space to life and to see it now welcoming guests into an experience that feels both restorative and uniquely rooted in Bath’s character.

We honored Bath's historic reputation as a centre of healing while re-imagined what wellness feels like today.

Spa Business have been very supportive in releasing this article about the launch https://shorturl.at/wr9Zv

London’s wellness landscape is about to welcome a striking new chapter as The Landmark Marylebone prepares to unveil its newly refurbished Spa — a £4 million investment that redefines urban luxury and positions the hotel firmly at the forefront of contemporary well‑being.

The transformation marks a bold step into a new era for the iconic London property. Every detail of the redesign has been crafted to reflect the elegance, sophistication, and quiet grandeur that The Landmark is known for, while introducing a fresh, modern sensibility that speaks to today’s discerning traveller. Corinthia Rome is Finally Open

Corinthia Rome is finally open and the Spa is simply magnificent. The intimate subterranean space, shaped by water, mineral stone and softened light, offers a quiet counterpoint to the bustle above. Roman-inspired bathing rituals and striking laurel leaf mosaic artistry pays homage to the city’s heritage.

We had the privilege of being on board for the development of the Spa for over six years from the very first concept conversations through every detail of the design phases. It wasn’t always an easy road; complex projects within heritage buildings rarely are.
We are deeply grateful for the collaboration, the trust, and the shared belief from the entire project team that brought us to this moment.

The treatment menu combines botanical intelligence with clinical innovation in rituals focused on deep regeneration, with signature treatments such as The Chrysalis and Reverse Signature Facial.

The menu has been curated to offer international guests a distinctly Italian approach to wellness, marrying Tuscan botanicals with advanced performance.

About Corinthia Rome

Located in the historic Campo Marzio neighbourhood, Corinthia Rome sits in a building served as a prominent financial institution for much of the 20th century.

Built in 1914 by architect Marcello Piacentini, the 9,700sqm former bank headquarters has undergone a multi-year restoration to become an intimate 21 suite and 39-room hotel over seven floors.

Interiors are by GA Design and offer a balance of restored heritage features with contemporary Italian design.

“Corinthia Rome was created to be experienced,” says MD Danilo Zucchetti. “The authentic connection with Rome and its inhabitants is what matters most to us and is what makes the experience truly memorable.”

Rayners Penn - The Revival Has Begun

So excited to have been engaged on this very special and exciting project. My involvement started almost a year ago however now we are able to talk a little quietly, about the development.

Set in the heart of Penn, Rayners boasts a wonderful history. Originally it was a country house, built by Sir Phillip Rose in 1847. After more than two generations in the family it changed ownership and became a school for deaf children. Unoccupied since 2015, the buildings have fallen into disrepair, the history faded from memory…until now. The development will include a luxury Boutique Hotel, extensive Wellbeing Spa, Cookery School all surrounded by beautiful gardens.

More to be shared soon….

Training Day - Leadership, Mouvement; Leading Across Generations: Building a Purposeful and Resilient Team in a Multigenerational Workplace

Nature has this incredible way of teaching us about resilience, adaptability, and staying true to our purpose - and that’s exactly what the Leadership, Generational Leadership, Resilience, and Purpose seminar at Champneys Tring felt like.

It was a truly enriching experience. Surrounded by inspiring people, I came away with so many valuable insights on leading with wisdom across generations, embracing change with ease, and finding that sweet spot between strength and kindness - just like the most resilient plants in a thriving garden.

One thought that really stuck with me: True leadership is all about connection. It’s about recognising the unique strengths of those around us and creating space for them to grow - just like nature, where everything thrives together in balance. Feeling so grateful for the knowledge shared, the amazing conversations, and the reminder that, just like in nature, our leadership journey is always evolving. Thank you to Laura Sheridan for hosting the event at Champney's Health Spa in Tring.

Launch of European Spa Platinum Resource 2025

A sincere thank you to European Spa for inviting me to your exceptional event this week at the beautiful Jumeirah Carlton Tower, celebrating the launch of the 2025 Platinum Resource.

It was a pleasure to connect with industry friends in such an inspiring setting, filled with insightful speakers and meaningful discussions. I particularly appreciated Sarah Dalton’s highlight on Intentional Resting. It recognises the importance of consciously dedicating time and space to genuine rest - something that, paradoxically, we, as ambassadors of wellness, often overlook ourselves. Grateful to Sarah Camilleri, Mark Smith, Wendy Wood (Golledge) for their contributions to this memorable occasion.

The Francis Reimagined

The Francis Reimagined

The Francis Hotel is undergoing a multi-million pound investment to transform the hotel and build a team to deliver an unparalleled sojourn. The Francis Hotel plays a huge part in Bath’s history. The original building was the inspiration of local freemason John Wood the Elder. It was built on Queen Square – the first Georgian square created in Bath. John lived at No. 9 Queen Square which is now the front door to The Francis Hotel and he went on to create the vision for the world-famous Circus before his son (John Wood the Younger) took his father’s inspiration and created the Royal Crescent. They are a long lasting part of Bath’s history and a play a pivotal part in the city.  The investment will touch every part of the hotel with opulent design, personalised service and curated experiences for our guests. It will be a place where Bath’s heritage can be celebrated and legacy continued.

In 2025 there will be unveiling of the brand new Francis Hotel experience, featuring beautifully refurbished guestrooms, an exciting new restaurant and bar, a cosy snug, and a relaxing spa.

We have been engaged since 2019 on the wellbeing offering of this wonderful property and cant wait to reveal what we have been creating in the Autumn of this year.
